Ramon Quinones, of Hartford, was identified as the passenger who died in the crash on I-384 eastbound on Saturday, Feb. 19, according to Connecticut State Police.

State Police reported that the crash happened at about 5 a.m. near Exit 2 in Manchester when a 21-year-old Hartford man who was driving a 2003 Acura TL lost control of the car and drove onto the median.

The Acura struck a tree and came to a stop in two pieces on the median, police said. 

Police said the driver and the front right passenger, a 21-year-old Hartford man, were hospitalized for their injuries.

Quinones was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities reported.
